Belderrig cemetery is situated a few hundred yards east of Belderrig church on the south side of the main Ballycastle-Belmullet road, up a short gravel road at the top (Ballycastle) end of the town. It cannot be seen from the main road. It is a relatively new cemetery and the oldest grave observed was 1942, however, the earliest recorded burial in Belderrig is 1951 in the Ballycastle death register. Prior to this time, burials would have taken place in Doonfeeny graveyard.
